Challenge:
YoungLA needed launch visuals that could make each compression product feel distinct while still reading quickly inside a fast social feed.Response:
I developed separate 3D animation directions with their own mood, material treatment, and motion language, while keeping the work coherent as part of the same campaign.Approach
The animations were built through a shared production pipeline: concept framing, environment direction, material testing, lighting, motion design, sound, and post-production.
The goal was not to repeat one visual formula. Each piece needed its own atmosphere, while still feeling connected through product focus, pacing, and finish.
The Published Pieces
Batman Compression used contrast, tension, and a darker cinematic treatment to give the product more weight and presence.
APEX Compression uses a technical visual language, sharp pacing, tight framing, and clear product-focused motion.
Published in Context
Two pieces from the campaign have already been published on YoungLA’s Instagram, where the animations appeared in the same fast-scroll environment they were designed for.
The work needed to land quickly, frame each product with a distinct atmosphere, and make each drop feel like its own event.
